Comic book superheroes such as Batman and Superman, along with loveable cartoon characters Tom and Jerry will all be a part of Warner Star Park at Luxun Park in Shanghai's Hongkou District.
The theme park opens on July 1, the report said. It will be open daily from 2:30pm to 10:30pm from July 1 through August 31. Ticket prices range from 40 yuan to 70 yuan.
Entering the theme park, visitors will first see a water tower and a cartoon music fountain. The passage connecting Luxun Park to Hongkou Football Station has been covered with a red carpet lined with statues of Superman, Batman, Tom and Jerry as well as Sylvester and Tweety. There are also some sculptures of monsters and human skeletons, the report said.
The report said one of the highlights of the theme park is the Batmobile.
